  **This review is specially for the bar**
  When at the river, hit up the nearest bar.
  
  I went to Martinez Lake over the Labor Day Weekend with my lovely boyfriend and his family and friends. Five of us came out to check out the bar scene and the cougars and sabertooths wasted no time on hitting on the baby face in our group. The bar was pretty crowded and is CASH ONLY. Their ATM machine was broken so make sure you bring cash with you.
  
  Don't you hate waiting for the bartender to notice you just to ask for some water? Well, no wait here ladies and gentlemen. There is a water cooler & cups to the left of the bar!! Dance floor is right there ready for drunk people to fall on their face. Arcade games are next to the dj booth.
  
  Next room over holds tables, two pool tables, and shuffleboard.
  
  Outside has another bar, more tables, and a foosball table! Best discovery about this place is the fact they don't charge to play foosball! Super fun time. HOWEVER, there's only ONE ball that you must request from the outdoor bartender. Do not be a doofus and lose the ball. Overall, cool bar to hang out and get some laughs.

  Went to lunch with 5 people last week. We ordered the big cheeseburger with fries. It was great and more than enough food for everyone! Great service and nice people... Fun day !! Will definitely go back with a big crowd next time.

  We love Martinez! This is our spot every time we come out to the river. We've learned not to stress about packing food, and instead just eat here. It's affordable and the food is delicious! Price average is about $6-$10 per plate. They have a wide range of variety on the menu so you can easily please the whole group. It's a mix between American food and Mexican food. Coming from San Diego, their burritos and carne asada are actually pretty damn good! Breakfast food comes out very quick, but dinner time can be a long wait for your food because it gets pretty packed in there. You don't really have any other options around here tho, so it's worth the wait. They have a game room with 2 pool tables and a shuffle board and afew arcade games. On the other side of the restaurant is the bar with a dance floor. On a weekend night this place gets pretty crowded and turns into a fun party. The restaurant will accept credit cards when paying your bill, but the bar only accepts cash. So if you're going to the bar, make sure to bring cash to avoid paying their ATM machine

  5 stars? Really?  Yes!  And here's why....
  
  IF you're out in the middle of BFE and IF you've had a long dusty day in the sand and IF you're hungry and thirsty...well, this place is perfect.
  
  We came off of a 300-mile ride. We parked the bikes, walked inside (to the sound of a live band) and we were immediately asked, "What can I get you?"
  
  A pitcher of Sculpin IPA and two shots of tequila and we were feeling much better.
  
  They recommended the Philly Cheesesteaks so we obliged them and they were right: Very tasty!
  
  Fries were crispy and delicious.
  Waitstaff and the owner (who came over to say hello) are all attentive and nice.
  
  We sat outside with a view of Lake Martinez. The cool breeze felt great after a long day on the road.
  
  Highly recommended if you find yourself in the area.

  Great food.  Very friendly service.  Clean and fun with a nice view.  I would go back!
